Does this library work with Vue 2? #26

I've tried to get this library running for Vue 2, but didn't manage do to it. Also see this comment.

The docs say:

Note, this version drops support for commonJS, while adding support for Vue3.

So it's unclear if it still should support Vue 2? If yes, how to get it running? In the meanwhile I'll try to use the original version.
