I like the new effect in the dash but in my opinion, it would make sense if it appears when the app is focused.

I think it could fit better if they have no relief and look just the opposite (like a pushed button) and if it appears for opened apps (to make the difference between "favourites" pinned apps and "Running" apps). Dont know how to explain better lol

I will leave this open, coz I dont like it either. I will ask the guys from Evopop Gtk what should be done there.

By the way this is the dask to dock extension you use? Because without it, isn't so bad. It is still bad, but not so bad :)
