I'm an antergos gnome user ;) i think there is no need for a big split for it. It should be named as a simple installation option for arch ;) |
@hobbypunk90 hey, if you have a recent Antergos install, can you verify whats happening with LightDM? Because if that is still the case, we cannot propose Antergos, without at least writing up the solution, for switching from LightDM to GDM. Which is one line anyway :) |
@alex285 you are right, I forgot this everytime, this is the first thing I |
I think Arch is the best choice for me. I am using Arch with 3.20 and 3.21+ builded manually. But it is not suitable for a beginners. It has no concept " out of the box". |
@DeadMetaler thats why i use antergos, i used arch before, but it's not runnig as well as antergos 😄 |
I've started using Manjaro Gnome a couple of months ago and thus far I have had no major issues, I think Antergos and Manjaro are some of the best Gnome experiences I've had. I did encounter an issue with the multimedia keys recognition in Manjaro, after the last gnome updates since 3.22, but other than that, I am glad with how fast and smooth gnome runs in Manjaro. |
For:
http://alex285.github.io/myGNOME/docs/linux/
Prioritize
Arch, Ubuntu (Ubuntu-GNOME) and Rawhide (because of GNOME.next)
And then
Gentoo, openSUSE (Tumbleweed), Fedora perhaps?
Should we go on based systems like Sabayon or Antergos?
