Describe the bug
Nearly all 4K movies begin playing with soft coded subtitles. Navigating to the subtitle options sections does not show a subtitle track, so they cannot be disabled, so the movie plays with subtitles. The subtitles are not hardcoded.
To Reproduce
Try to play most recent 4K movies
Expected behavior
All movies should begin playing with subtitles disabled. All movies should reflect when a subtitle track is present, rather than showing no subtitle track whilst playing with subtitles.
Device (please complete the following information):
Various Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K on tvOS 17 and 18, on the latest commit of Popcorn Time (as of time of writing).
