I am unable reproduce this issue. What version of what Linux distribution are you attempting to run it on?

ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games#6005 could be the same issue.

ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games#6005 could be the same issue.

Maybe, the OP didn't specify how they are using MetaMod:Source.

In that case (the link to my issue) I was using MetaMod:Source on a dod:s Linux listenserver.

Not a dedicated server.

There are 2 files libtier0_srv.so and libvstdlib_srv.so that if inserted into "Day of Defeat Source/bin" MetaMod:Source will load and the error goes away.

Same issue is with CSS, HL2:DM and TF2.... for a Linux listenserver if you attempt to install Metamod:source.

The files (that fixed the issue) came from the dod:s dedicated /bin folder.

Same issue?

Depends on the OP posting more info' what they are doing, dedicated server or client listen server?

With my issue (unfortunately) it got closed as the moderator failed to understand the issue was the client file system ...

Depot 232293 for Day of Defeat: Source

....Not the dedicated server files.

The OP needs to explain more on what actual game (depot app no' on steamdb) they are having the issue with.
