the client doesn't work properly on archos 101 G9 tablet

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install .apk file
2. create a valid account
3. login from tablet
4. try to use the menus from within the program

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the software should be able to determine my location and it doesn't do that. It 
gets "calculating gps location" message
Any option available I choose (Check in manually now, Take and upload photo) 
shows an error message "Unfortunately Traceper has stopped."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I'm using the last version available.
The operating system is android 4.0.4
