Completion on branches, refs and possibly elsewhere

Hi,

I am a long term magit user, so one thing which was missing from the start when I tried gitu ( a wonderful idea!) was the missing completion. But this is one of the killer features of magit. Without completion I am possibly faster on the commandline with direct git (where I HAVE completion).

So, this would be a major thing to have.

Or - it is already implemented and it just doesn't work for me?

This is indeed a missing feature. And a huge bummer.

I'm on the lookout for doing some overhauls in the UI compartment, possibly replacing Ratatui and the lib that handles the prompt.

(termwiz seems to have some interesting features, and autocompletion emulation in place.)

It is quite some work to get there.
