alvr AUR packages fail to build

The build script fails at the following step:

If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from Git.  If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
[email protected] mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.libera.chat.

I have installed cuda-tools suspecting that's the issue, but seemingly not. Am I missing anything?

I couldn't even get it to compile with the distrobox setup; this is completely blocking me from being able to use VR on my PC :(
