Possible Wireless Streaming using Network Encoder?

I have been seeing the excitement around Meta's HDMI Link recently and was wondering about the prospects of doing this wirelessly. I have experimented with using a HDMI network encoder like this one:

I have hooked my switch up to one of these and streamed the game over network to my quest headset using vlc. It is just a second or two off in terms of controller responsiveness. How difficult would it mean to get the signal using ALVR and reduce the latency?
