Project status query

Hi @amilajack ,
checking out the project, wonder what is the project status? Is it more alive than dead or other way around?
I checked out the next branch and tried to build from it.
There's too many errors in console that I see, e.g. Settings modal wouldn't close on close button, and others.

It seems to be a decent project, I like the fact that it's in React, utilizing typescript, and that there's a structure to the project.
I'm missing several functions that are currently present in the original popcorn time desktop app, but other than that, it seems to be on a good path.

So please let me know what's the plan.

I'm indeed interested in contributing, I'm using the popcorn time original app, but its tech stack is foreign to me, so I have found your project.

Good to hear that you're interested in contributing! There are a number of areas that need contribution. The first is getting the next branch in a working state. Let me know if you have any questions or need help!

Few questions actually:

• I see there's a massive 1.5.0 PR, let me know if you need some help with testing it etc. I believe it's better to wait for the merge before contributing.
• I would like to start by writing some tests to get my head around the project, so please let me know if that's a good idea, and if so then which part do you reckon I should start with
• Is there a slack/discord/telegram channel that you're using or you think github is enough?

Just merged 1.5.0. TV Show are broken and there's probably a bunch of bugs I haven't yet ran into. Feel free to test now!
