Searching for k9 does not return k-9 mail in search

I have installed K-9 Mail app. But, search function cannot find it if I query k9. Most apps can return this string without issue. Perhaps, a search algorithm similar to the one used by kiss launcher can be considered, here? It has one the best search functions in my usage.
