Feature request: Filenames too long - add tooltips to shown bookmark and recent files

I have many files with long names that start with the same letters. Is is possible to add a tooltip so that I can see (by hovering over the name), which file is in bookmark settings resp. recent files?

Have you been able to solve this? I'm having a similar issue. I'd love a way to increase the size of the box the recent files or the bookmarks are in, so we can actually read the file names.
