Is anyone monitoring these channels actively? If not, we should drop them from the site.

We are monitoring the mailing list (although we probably want to move to an ASU mailing list simply because ASU has capable IT people that are managing a more up-to-date LISTSERV).

The IRC channel is... dead IMO.
