Time of day / day of week over select time period?

Is it possible to limit the commit-based charts (largely flags SHOW_COMMIT and ``SHOW_DAYS_OF_WEEK`) to just recent weeks and/or months? It would be nice to have that reflect recent trends, rather than the account lifetime.
