I've been playing around with different music players and noticed a few things missing:
No default value for untagged/unsupported files/formats. I'm one of those people that has their music collection in different file formats and as such, some files are volume adjusted and some aren't, leading to huge volume differences. As a result, I had to disable R.G. completely, because in other apps, I could just set the "default" value to -11dB for a better-than-nothing experience.
While there's no standard way of doing it, there're de-facto agreed-upon tags used to enable R.G. for WMA files. See this ticket for more info. (p.s. Winamp is pretty buggy under Wine, that's why I stopped using it in the first place.)
Other than that, Guayadeque is still the best Linux music player!
