As a RESEARCHER, I want to be able to search for compliant journals in my particular field of study. When there are many search results, they should be prioritized in a sensible way and also allow me to sort and filter them (by date, by compliance route, by publisher, by impact factor, by journal name, etc.)

This is not in the current specification, and will require a certain amount of figuring out and development that has not been factored into he plan, so moving this into the "Candidates for future development" column.
Small challenge here, this user story is lifted from the ITT and the CL response has this down as "available when alternative journal suggestion is made. A simple search capability that will return users relevance to query ordered journals from our database." So aspects of this user story are part of deliverable 4 (alternative publication route) in my mind.
Not saying that all of the sort/filter options should be included (and impact factor definitely shouldn't be) but the alternative journal feature must have a defined approach for prioritising suggesting titles. The filter options can be a candidate for future development but other aspects of this story shouldn't be.
Understood. I think we probably need to split this user story into two, because it is combining a functional aspect which is in scope (ordering/prioritising) with another functional aspect which is not in scope (general domain searching for compliant journals).
