Databricks provider docs: Recommended auth methods

There seems to be a contradiction on what the Airflow docs recommend on Databricks connection auth methods, vs the Databricks docs (see note here).

I was just wondering, are personal access tokens still the recommended method, or might this just be a remnant of the time when the connection only allowed username + password or PAT?
