Should have a way to report on 3rd party libraries and license + current version #154

We should have a standard way of encoding the version currently upstreamed of SDK packages, as well as their license and current version. It would be great if we could also report on any custom patches, or whether the library was custom patched in newt as well -- potentially pointing to an instruction page.
