java binding: should I close both OperatorOutputStream and Operator?

Constructor of the OperatorOutputStream takes Operator's handle and uses it to construct internal Writer

this.writer = new Writer(constructWriter(op, path));

OperatorOutputStream.close calls Writer.close -> my assumption is that closing Stream implicitly closes Operator, is it correct?

On the other hand, constructWriter(op, path) returns long, so Writer gets different handle(?) and such both Stream and Operator have to be closed?

I think operator need to be manually close also
