Currently I use several GCP products, it's more cost-effective for the customer, easier to maintain, among others. If there's enough demand it would be nice to explore supporting on-premise and other clouds, the "interface" (API) for Apex Logs is pretty simple so we could possibly even support alternatives such as Elastic or AWS.
Thumbs up or leave a comment if you'd be interested in running Apex Logs in a different environment :).
Just to clarify, you can send logs to Apex Logs from anywhere (AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure, etc), I think my messaging around that has been unclear. GCP is basically just where the logs live.
