Like in title, AG maxes at 7.1.2 and 3rd order ambisonics, but Pro Tools and AAX have had native 9.1.6 (and 7.1.4) support for a while now.
For many of us doing Atmos Music mixes and using the "static bed" or master buss -based workflow, being able to offload our master channel processing could be a huge help as that would be a way for the processing to land on a different core (PT tends to congest the single heavy long "master" chain on just one core).
