Amazon AWS recently introduced an additional security measure. For the same email, they require a separate password for their AWS service (console.aws.amazon.com, signin.aws.amazon.com). Safari password manager correctly autofills the separate AWS password but then fails to autofill the 2FA code. This worked correctly before Amazon introduced the separate password. The password entry with the 2FA code is the only entry for signin.aws.amazon.com.

On Mac, if you edit your Amazon password, you can right click on the aws.amazon.com and related websites at the bottom and remove them. Then you can add a new password with the + on that screen for aws.amazon.com and add your separate 2FA. Took me awhile to figure this out 😅
I think for me, I signed in to aws.amazon.com and it added that as one of the websites to my amazon.com login which preventing me from adding a separate on for it.
