The current Slack integration in Appsmith does not allow triggering Slack notifications, limiting the ability to send real-time alerts to users or channels. This is important to ensure that critical updates reach the right audience immediately.

Missing Capability - Trigger Slack Notifications

  • API Reference: Slack API - chat.postMessage

Expected Behavior: Users should be able to send messages with @channel, @here, or @user mentions to trigger notifications in Slack.
