Hi there,

my ThinkPad T440P has not started since the first alpha version of "v1.2". The screen remains black and there is no sound. I also tried to connect external monitors, which was unfortunately unsuccessful.

First I went back to version "v1.1".

I have installed an Intel i7-4910mq and no eGpu.

Thanks for the support.
:-)

Thanks for testing! I will mark these releases as broken and hopefully get some interesting debugging output once my TTL adapter arrives.

current status:

v1.2_cw-alpha6: the system does not start; black screen; no sound; no fan noise; Nothing ...;
v1.2_cw-alpha4: the system starts; i can see coreboot on the screen; no boot; no keys can be entered

I hope I can help you with that.

I would like it if you would also publish the coreboot config. Unfortunately I haven't found it yet.

Thanks for keeping me updated. My TTL adapter arrived today and I'm currently doing some more testing.

I will post my default config in the next few hours.

USB debugger seems to work which is good news.

Here's the output I'm getting with the 4960 HQ installed (alpha6 build). No screen output as expected. The CPU is however correctly being recognized.

Output with i5 installed, graphics init disabled. This is how it should look like:
i5_groff.log
It seems to loop over and over again. Perhaps I have to enable more verbose debug settings.

Interesting. There's no debugging output when we build a ROM from the original coreboot repository on the 4960HQ

That's all we see:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ cat /dev/ttyGS0
