Implement SIA 2061 [32] for simplified electrical storage sizing.

--> Check if similar options are available for heat storage.

For "Pufferspeicher" (heat-pump systems), there are very simplified calculations available, with XYliter/kW_heatingpower. (https://www.energie-experten.org/heizung/heizungstechnik/pufferspeicher). Storage tanks for domestic hot water can also easily be dimensioned, for example via typical domestic hot water usage per person (around 45l/p/d (--> SIA 385/2, here also a more detailed calculation including losses etc. is available)) and then assuming that the storage tank needs to be able to store enough water for the domestic hot water usage of one day. Of course, for larger buildings (MFH) this does not simply apply, but for a rough estimation this could be enough.
