News app is very slow #199

Hi, I try to run news app on macOS and AWS Linux server, the response is very slow. After any click, it took several to ten seconds to respond. What may be the problem here? Thanks!

If this is an intermittent thing then I would definitely look at AWS first, that seems like a latency issue.
