This is a feature request to add online training capabilities using ADIOS2 instead of relying on SmartSim/SmartRedis.

To Do:

  • Add ADIOS2 backend to GNN client in 3rd_party/gnn/client.py
  • Add routines to gnn and trajGen plugins to write/stream data with ADIOS2
  • Test online training capability with ADIOS
  • Add method to quit nekRS when done training
  • Add solution checkpointing with ADIOS at the end of fine-tuning
  • Test full shooting workflow with ADIOS
