The card maker wont work

Whenever i search up a word on Jidoujisho 2.9.0 and try to use the card maker button on Yomitan it wont work the button itself doesnt do anything. I can still export cards fine to Anki, it just wont auto add words,images,sentences,etc on the cards by using the card maker button.

It works fine on versions below 2.9.0
my phone is a Samsung S10 Android 12

Install the latest stable version (2.8.10) since things work properly there, as you pointed. 2.9.0 is kinda broken in some aspects, unfortunately, as it's a pre-release version.

It wasn't working for me even in the version 2.8.10 but I just found de solution. The message "There was an error in adding a note to AnkiDroid" appears.

{PlatformException(error, Deck name already exists: Default, null, java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Deck name already exists: Default

Well, I didn't have any decks named "Default", But I tried to create one with this name, and actually there was one, or the ghost of one! I manage to make it appear by adding a new card to it. After "fixing" it's ghostness, adding a card with jidoujisho worked, on 2.9.0-preview3.

bro how did you make the Default deck appear, rn got the same issue, ("There was an error in adding a note to Ankidroid"), I'm currently trying to make default make appear but no luck, i already tried making a card and moving it to Default deck, but it won't appear this one on the list, tried making a deck called Default but it says it already exists tho. 😞
