Locals in dark mode are black

Also, I think all the colours are actually wrong dark. Something about the backgrounds/reds isn't right.

hmm... i'd like to see a screenshot. Don't you mean the darkening that Qt creator applies to show nesting of the code? I ended up switching it off, but it is in my screenshot.

Ah, I somehow missed the reference to the "dark mode". I'll have a look, I use light mode myself.
