I try to run your script with Perl 5.10. It complains about a syntax error in line 333 near "use constant { map { ...".
This occurs on Perl 5.10 on QNAP NAS and with "Padre" on Windows (Perl 5.14.2.1).
Do you have any clues for someone who doesn't know perl ? Is Perl 5.28 essential ?

Updated script to support earlier versions of Perl. Tested on Perl v5.10.

Thank you for your prompt change.
Nevertheless, it does not work because it does not recognize the WiFi module of the AC system.
With "--ip 192.168.1.22 --get" the script hangs and with "--discover --ip 192.168.1.22" "not found" appears.
The NetHome Plus App works well ....
