This represents an attempt to create benchmarks using real catalog data hosted in our cloud bucket.
The idea was to copy the needed files to the local github workflow (or developer machine), and perform a series of operations on those loaded files. The process to copy from the cloud takes too long to be a reasonable benchmark to run regularly.
In the mean time, I have written PR astronomy-commons/hats#184 to add some more larger load tests to the benchmarks in the hipscat repo, but the catalog files are generated on-the-fly.
