Agenda

Don't wait for the meeting to discuss topics that already have issues. Feel free to comment on them earlier.

  1. AsyncAPI workshops proposal
  2. Contributors guide to the AsyncAPI use cases research
  3. Process for participating in the Ambassador program
  4. What happens when you need to support more than the rest APIs(But you already use OpenAPI)

Notes

Add notes here after the meeting.

  • @AceTheCreator proposed doing virtual workshops/webinars around the AsyncAPI ecosystem and making them available for the public via the youtube channel.
  • @derberg gave an update on the progress he has made on the AsyncAPI use cases template and how other contributors can participate in the process of gathering use cases.
  • @AceTheCreator brought up the idea of using google forms to apply to become an AsyncAPI Ambassador which was later rejected due to us already having a better approach which is Github
  • @fmvilas suggested folks stick to OpenAPI for restful APIs related stuff and use AsyncAPI to Event Driven APIs (we believe sooner, AsyncAPI will be used to document both)
  • @char0n raised awareness on AsyncAPI 2.5.0 release effort

Hi,

Can I propose additional agenda item?

The item would be to briefly introduce AsyncAPI 2.5.0 release effort, just to raise awareness of it.

Thanks!
