Guidance on integration with View Transition API for animating preview to resting location/appearance?

A nice concise native solution for 'animate drag preview to resting location / appearence' using the new view transition api would be rad but is not possible with current specs.

In that absence, It'd be nice to have an idiomatic work-around / example for using view transitions with pragmatic-drag-and-drop to pull that off (in whatever narrow cases it was even possible).
