so the quick answer to your question is maybe; like I mentioned the idea is that since federation is an kube API...it should work. it appears to be in flight (officially) atm. there are references starting to appear, and an issue against this feature. the main reason i wanted this as an issue is to more deeply make sure the following are tracked:
ensure which deployment kinds are supported with tiller/helm federation (are there limits that impact us)
ensure that federated support can be supported in openstack-helm
ensure that armada can leverage this federated support, and deploy workloads based on affinity/anti-affinity labels.
