Question Description

Are these build errors unique to me and my lack of other dependencies or has anyone seen similar feedback?
I understand macOS is not officially supported, so any assistance is more than enough. Even referring me to a related closed issue would be awesome.

#Steps/Code to Reproduce
pip3 install auto-sklearn

  • Output Snippet:
Collecting scikit-learn<0.25.0,>=0.24.0 (from auto-sklearn)

  note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.

I am experiencing the same issue on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and on Colab.

Hi @nicholastscott. I managed to solve the issue!

I created a new Conda environment with Python 3.7 and ran:

pip install auto-sklearn

At the end, I got a message saying Successfully built auto-sklearn.
