Hi,
Awesome feature with the aliases, I really like it
Is there a way to get autocomplete for aliases, or will this be implemented later?

We don't have it yet, but this is definitely something we'd like to do!

Before finding out about AWS Aliases, I actually had a makefile for my common AWS tasks (a bit weird usage, I know).

These AWS Aliases are much more appropriate for these common AWS tasks I have and don't divide opinions as much as using makefiles.

BUT, what I loose by moving to AWS Aliases are:

I don't expect that "self-documenting" part to really happen, but I'd argue having autocomplete support would benefit the utilization of AWS CLI aliases 🙂

Any updates on this request?

Because command completion is handled by aws_completer it's not likely this would work without implementing your own custom shell completion files.
