I tried to install focus for my ubuntu and there is this error:
focus: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.34' not found (required by focus)
That tells me my version of GLIBC (whatever that is) is using an older version or doesn't exist all together. I asked GPT and ran this command:
ldd --version
And god this in return:
ldd (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.31-0ubuntu9.14) 2.31 Copyright (C) 2020 Free Software Foundation, Inc. This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Written by Roland McGrath and Ulrich Drepper.
So sure enough ... my version is 2.31
After I asked GPT on how to upgrade it, it basically told me I'm better off buying a new computer. Is there an easy workaround for this issue or should i just give up on this software?
