It looks like copy-paste mistake from https://registry.terraform.io/providers/aztfmod/azurecaf/2.0.0-preview3/docs/resources/azurecaf_naming_convention

@RockyMM I'm no stranger to submitting PR-s, but I don't know what author meant there. Moreover, since a copy-pasta error sneaked in, I think, it is a good idea an author of this document reviews it thoroughly.

@RockyMM I'm sorry, you are right. I think the whole sentence should be gone, but it does make sense that the author checks the documentation.
