derived test contexts shared in nuget package can not get found by bunit

Hi,
I currently want to set up a test context with some very common functionality which I would like to share between multiple projects. So I made a private nuget package out of it but if I try to inherit from it in my project in which I actually want to test something bUnit seems to not be able to find any test inheriting from the custom test context.
Before that I had the exact same test context inside my actual test project in which the test context worked perfectly fine. Is that some limitation or is there anything I overlooked? I thought maybe it can't find the assemblies of it and I can add them to bUnit to find somehow?

Not sure I follow. BUnit does not "find tests". Thats up to the test framework you are using, e.g. xUnit.

BUnit is a library that you use in your tests, not a test runner.

I'm fairly new to bUnit and xUnit so I'm not quite sure how everthing works. I'm sorry if that's out of scope of bUnit. But the TestContext class is a bUnit class that's why I thought it might rather be an issue with that.
What I have is

            _buttonJSInterop.SetupVoid("initialize", _ => true);
            _utilitiesJSInterop.SetupVoid("log", _ => true);
            _utilitiesJSInterop.Setup<string>("getUserAgent");
        }
    }

which has common functionality for using bUnit tests for blazorise.
That's in a nuget package and if I try to use that TestContext in a [Fact] for example, it looks like this in the test explorer of Visual Studio, while it was running fine before.

Any way you could help me with that? Or is that rather something I should ask in a xUnit forum or something like that?

You are very welcome to ask questions and we are happy to help.

However, you have not shown me anything that should not work. As mentioned, bUnit is not in the "finding tests" business. bUnit enables you to render a component and assert things about it. You can use bUnit in all sorts of projects.

In your test project, you need a test framework like xUnit to drive your tests. xUnit will not discover tests declared in a nuget package though, so your test project needs to declare [Fact] methods.

Thanks for confirming that this should work. It was something completely unrelated, I'm sorry that I opened this discussion which didn't really relate to bUnit at all.
In the end, I thought that the xunit.runner.visualstudio would be a transitive package when I introduce it in the nuget package I added in my other package which wasn't the case so it was missing and therefore the tests didn't run.
Confirming that my code should work made me go in a different direction than a code issue, so your answer helped a lot.
