About

!!Con ("Bang Bang Con") is a fun and friendly programming conference. We'll talk about things that delight and surprise us. The talks are about whatever you find fascinating.

We'll consider it a success if you meet some people you click with, learn something surprising, and laugh a lot.

!!Con is a place for you to have a good time, and nobody should get in the way of that. We don't tolerate any kind of harassment at !!Con. You can see our code of conduct at link, which includes our contact info in case you have a problem.

!!Con will be held at Hacker School in New York.

Call for Proposals

!!Con is a conference about what excites us about programming. It's about amazing things, surprising things and fun things. It's about strange things and silly things and heartwarming things. Did you find a super weird bug? Have you learned a programming language that kinda blew your mind? Did you teach some kids to program and they did something AMAZING? Did your program make you giggle? We want to hear about it.

At !!Con, we're nonjudgemental. We don't care if what you talk about is "basic" or "not smart enough" or "done before". If you think it's cool, we want to hear from you.

The only requirement is that your talk

  1. be programming-related
  2. have an exclamation mark in the title

All talks are 10 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions.

The submission deadline is Sunday, March 23. We'll accept as many amazing talks as we can.
