I have been using Teslalogger for years now with 3 different Teslas. In general, Teslalogger is a very convincing app. Unfortunately, Teslalogger wakes up my model S85D 2015 regularly, resulting in unnecessarily draining the hv battery by 2 km per day. My newer Tesla is not affected and sleeps as long as nobody wakes it up.
The built-in Suspend (=stop logging) function does not help. The logging stops but the unnecessary waking up continues. Mqtt is enabled.
This behaviour can be replicated by halting Teslalogger's docker container. This regularly saves 2 km per day as opposed to when Teslalogger is running normally or in Suspend(!) mode.
I would greatly appreciate if Teslalogger could be enhanced so as not to wake up old Teslas unnecessarily.
If this is not possible/too time consuming a switch to start/stop contacting a selected car of the owners Teslas would be a very practical work around.
Alternatively, in suspend mode Teslalogger should not only stop logging, but all processes.
