the bazel-central-registry repository has the "Allow auto-merge" setting enabled, which permits PRs to merge with less maintainer manual action.

Other automations I'm familiar with can set this bit at the time they create the PR, for example https://github.com/peter-evans/create-pull-request?tab=readme-ov-file#auto-merge

It would be great to remove another manual step from the BCR process
