Write tutorial and documentation #6
Comments
Hi Viet,
This should be easily possible. Here is a documented template for the nc2zarr configuration: nc2zarr/config-template.yml at main · bcdev/nc2zarr (github.com)<https://github.com/bcdev/nc2zarr/blob/main/nc2zarr/res/config-template.yml>
Regards
Norman

Betreff: Re: [bcdev/nc2zarr] Write tutorial and documentation (#6)
Hi there, as a public user, I wonder if it's possible with nc2zarr to do these things within the same configuration template:
* Convert multiple NetCDF files of the same business domain into a single zarr. e.g water temperature... the structures inside each file are the same.
* Select particular variables in those NetCDF files when converting into zarr, e.g only just need to get 'TEMP' instead of everything in the NetCDF files.
* Specify concatenate dimensions to a different variable rather than the default 'time', e.g DEPTH.
* Upload to a secured S3 that requires authenticating with a specific IAM role.
I'm aware it's possible to do some of the above by reading the README.md file, but I don't know how to map everything together into a single YAML configuration file, it would be great if you can help with a sample template to achieve the purposes.
Thank you.
