As a UX Researcher and Designer, I want to learn the basics of Python so that I can better understand how Python related tools are used by the team and extend that to Figma.

Background:
Python can be used to connect to a Figma REST API for various tasks. Udemy is offering a course called Python in 100 days which is reputed to bring the student/client to an intermediate level of understanding and writing Python code.

A.C.

  • Complete at least 25 hours of the uDemy course, Python in 100 days.
  • Using Python, connect to the Figma REST API
  • Programmatically extract images or other assets from the BCWS designs from either MoreCast or ASA.
  • Create a Jupyter notebook to capture code snippets.

Further ideas:

  • Jupyter notebook (functional code scrapbook).
  • Google hosted https://colab.google/
  • Connect with Lochlan and Samuel to see if we can share findings.
