Will edit this after discussion on discord ends but so far:
So, let's open a discussion about mod patch collection updates. I've seen various methods used. Now I'd like to get some info from the guys who use Irony to share their collections and Irony patches. So the flow I have in mind is:
A central registry (probably github repository used as db storage)
An ability for irony to detect updates and auto download patches and mod order (these being kinda tricky if a patch mod is dirty or mod order changed). Having said that the most appropriate approach would be to update only non modified patch mods and possibly inform of an update in that case.
Where will patch mods be kept and downloaded from? To make life easier for me I'm thinking github.
Inspiration comes from netkan for KSP.
