year suffixes can only be used for single-author works (15.20); multi authors are disambiguated using names and'/or short titles (I didn't realize this; will need to think on how to address it)
et al. is italicized in bib, not in text (recent refactor should make this easy)
only ever use et al when the "others" are more than one (see also, which includes a link to a biblatex issue on this, which reminds me Borrow from biblatex #64), since et al. is in fact plural (with recent refactor of contributors, this should be straightforward; can incorporate it when expanding disambiguation support); see Brenton's response, which recommends ignoring this rule
"and" conjunction on names is different for narrative and parenthetical citations (I was aware of this, but haven't implemented it yet, since I haven't gotten to citations yet)
