are there any plans for compatibility with TYPO3 13 already? Would be nice if everything could be collected here, to avoid parallel efforts.

Hey there! Right now, we don’t have any TYPO3 projects using fal_secure_download lined up for an upgrade just yet. We’re planning to get it compatible with TYPO3 13, but that probably won’t happen until sometime in 2025.

If you’re interested in sponsoring this work, though, we could bump it up on our priority list and get to it sooner! Also, we’re always open to community contributions. If anyone’s up for it, feel free to send in a detailed pull request (PR) that makes it work smoothly with both TYPO3 v12 and v13.
