Can't get the C# sample to work

I've just downloaded the master branch and I'm trying to run the C# example in VS2013.
First I needed to download .Net Framework 3.5 (I was already on v4.5) then it did some migration stuff (see attached update.log.
After that I could compile but when I run the example is crashes without any warning at m_parser.GetVersion().

I'm just investigating if I can use this library in my C# application.
Any help is much appreciated.
