can you explain this one a little bit?
I don't see the difference from the regular mousestate object output.

I've been looking for something that you actually transform trackpad into an xy pad.
I need something that if I touch one corner it know where I am touching, and if I lift the figner and touch another corner, it will know that it is the other corner. Not requiring me to drag all the way to that corner!

us.trackpadxy looks at the screensize to calculate the xy state of the cursor. I updated the device to work with fingerpinger.mxo, which specifically looks at trackpad action. Re-download the package and try it out (fingerpinger-external is included). You might run into a quarantine message when loading us.trackpadxy when on MacOS Catalina ...

  • Is this a mac only option?

Re-download the package and try it out

  • On max packages page it still doesn't show an update available
    • actually I'm curious to know how do you connect a github repo to a max package, is it an automatic process? Do you need to manually submit it to cycling74?
  • I will manually download it here from your repo and try it out.

Also, thank you for you quick response!

You might run into a quarantine message

  • every day. yes.

So I had the opportunity to test this.
Luckily I have a usb mouse attached, which allows me to turn it off.
It would be nice to be cross compatible.

Also, I have a question: are you able to get this to work inside max for live?

Best
