Hi,
I've just come across your excellent Chinese Console extension.
I have two feature requests that I think would be useful.
Be able to press a key (combination) and have the Hanzi and its definition copied to the clipboard. I usually select a Hanzi (whatever is selected, sometimes it's a idiomatic expression) and want to have it in my Google Sheets spreadsheet for further adding sample sentences, etc, and this spreadsheet becomes the source for a later import into Anki. So, being able to have the Hanzi plus its definition copied onto the clipboard would be very useful.
A small (in importance) feature would be to add Signal as a possible option for Sharing to.
Congratulations on such a nice extension. Out of curiosity, in what programming language is your extension coded in?
Thank you.

This is very interesting to me, and I think I could make a feature that would facilitate this. I'm wondering if simple copying to the clipboard would be good enough. It's almost as if tab-separated data would be more effective, and have that be selectable.
I'm considering developing a website that will back this extension, and the ability to maintain words and lists, and have export capabilities etc. Would this be useful for you?
As for sharing to Signal, I am using the react-share library, and they do not seem to have a Signal option. If you would like to make your suggestion with them, and they were to add it, I'd happily add it to the extension.
